Between the both of us, our extended family is quite large. Our nieces and nephews range from infant to teenager. Even though they are spread across the United States (New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, Indiana, South Carolina, Michigan, Alaska, and Colorado), we like to get together and see them as often as we can. Everyone looks forward to the reunion that Rob’s family has every year. As part of the reunion, his family always participates in a service project. The cousins love seeing each other and getting a chance to play. The brothers always play a round of basketball and the days are filled with talking and playing games. One special thing about Veronica’s family is the white blessing outfit that her mother makes each time a new baby is born as well as a special dress for their 8th birthday. These are treasured gifts. We also look forward to seeing her family when they gather for special occasions. Whatever they do it is always so fun to be with them and laugh.
