Dear Friends,

Hello we are Rob and Veronica and we thank you for taking the time to look at our adoption blog.  We are so excited to get to know you.  We hope that we might be able to help while you make one of the hardest, but loving decisions by choosing adoption. We look forward to opening our hearts and our home.

Let us tell you a little about us. We both attended the same small private college in Virginia. In our chemistry class, no joke, Rob had his eye on Veronica. He had invited her to study at the library a couple of times. Their first date occurred just a few months before the school year ended. After their first date, they never stopped talking and being with each other. We got married ten months later on Dec. 28, 2004. We have a common goal to have a happy, loving family and work hard for that every day and we are enjoying every minute of it.  In order to find out more about us, please click on the tabs above.

Our Journey to Adoption

We knew when we got married that we wanted to have children. We are both from larger families and enjoyed that environment growing up. We also both love children. When our first child Adelle was born there were a lot of complications during and after the pregnancy. Veronica's cardiologist advised her not to bear anymore children because it could turn fatal. We were heartbroken. There were many thoughts and options thrown out to us about how to next grow our family. We considered and prayed about them all and felt that adoption was the right thing for us.
 We desire to love another amazing little person to teach and watch them grow. Our daughter, Adelle, really wants to have a sibling to love and share fun times with. She is so excited and ready to play with them. When we have friends over that have babies, Adelle is so happy around their little children. She does all she can to make them laugh and smile and protect them from harm. She is going to be the best big sister anyone can ask for. We are so excited to be introduced with the right person and together love a special baby that connects us. This child will always know how special you are to them and to us.
